I don’t get it?! Why does HRC recognize overpaid celebrities as GLBT role models. None of these people have had to endure being denied housing, a job or ridiculed because they are GLBT.

This is why I no longer give to HRC. As far as I’m concerned it is nothing more than vehicle to further the causes of it’s leaders and what few celebrities it deems worthy of it’s praise.

The one time HRC had a chance to “show up” for us they chose to divide our Transgender brothers and sisters from our ranks.
