I couldn’t help noticing that the shot was blurred so you couldn’t exactly make out his face. You don’t suppose it was a body double? I can’t imagine it would be. Considering he doffs his shirt in practically every film he’s in, surely he’d be comfortable showing a bit of his ass.

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but we already saw Hugh Jackman’s backside in the second X-Men film. Chalk it up to Singer’s role as director.
