Hulk Hogan was canned from WWE last week after audio from a sex tape he recorded eight years ago was leaked online by Gawker. In it, the wrestling legend could be heard making racist comments. Now, Radar Online reports that he also uses antigay slurs.
According to the gossip site, “the same unauthorized sex tape that included Hulk’s bigoted attack against black people also features a disgusting section in which he unleashes the ‘F’ word and more disturbing homophobic slurs.”
In the video, Hogan tells his partner Heather Clem, wife of his former friend Bubba ‘The Love Sponge’ Clem, about an incident that happened during the taping of his short-lived reality series Hogan Knows Best.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“VH1 wanted me to do a big thing and go back to the house I grew up in,” he says. “So we knock on the door and a big fag lives there now!”
He continues: “This half-gay was enamored with [my ex-wife] Linda!”
(Just out of curiosity, what the hell is a “half-gay”?)
After the story broke, Hogan released an apology, saying he no longer believes anyone should be discriminated against because of their “race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise.”
“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it,” he said.
He continued: “This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”
Hogan has a filed a $100 million lawsuit against Gawker publishing the transcript from his sex tape and violating his privacy.
We want an additional $100 million for the nightmarish visions this story has put into our heads.

He strips down to his undies, puts on big leather boots and gropes other half naked men in public and yet he still makes anti-gay comments? Talk about lack of self awareness.
John Huntington
Funny how it’s usually the ugliest men who are homophobic. As if every gay man wants them.
Tom Knapp
Oh, I’m sorry.. I was looking for relevant news
Will Moor
It was 8 years ago, he apologized, personally I am willing to forgive the homophobic stuff.
Alex Rothwell
Really !
Xzamilio
My thing has always been: Don’t apologize if you don’t mean it, and don’t force someone to apologize if you aren’t willing to accept it.
Christopher Hayward
He is a clear cut closet case, even his ex-wife claimed this.
Curty
He’s not sorry. He said what he believes about blacks and gay or half gay men… he’s sorry he is being outed…
Clark35
@Xzamilio: exactly. Much like Alec Baldwin who is a homophobe who made a fake apology, yet is still homophobic.
meghanada
@Tom Knapp: So why did you read, and comment on, a story with that title?
Giancarlo85
I don’t know him personally so I can’t really judge his apology. Don’t really care for a wash up anyways.
tricky ricky
for the life of me I do not understand why I would be getting flagged. you didn’t have any problem with any of my other recent comments and I most certainly am not spamming or posting links.
Cagnazzo82
Wrestlers who grapple 3/4ths naked should be the last people to be homophobic.
This is why I like Finn Balor. He tweeted pro-gay rights support when his home nation Ireland recently legalized gay marriage.
Also he is legitimately hot, which Hulk Hogan never was even in his prime.

This video is over 3 years old. Let’s find something more relevant to chat about.
Bob LaBlah
The only thing this hillbilly did was let the world see just what he is, a true, down to earth hillbilly who saw a chance to get rich and went for it. As for “American Hero” get real, this self serving fuck was in it all for himself.
Bob Hope paid the entertainers who went with him on his Christmas shows out of his own pocket. The only thing the government had to do was provide the transportation. This hole (Hogan) got his FEES up front from the WWE before he went to Iraq in 1991. It is a flat out LIE he wasn’t compensated for his trips that he still wrote off on his taxes. The man is a hillbilly wrestling entertainer. Case closed. Jury dismissed.

Gay people call each other the “f” word and black people (I’m black) call each other the “n” word. Why do we forgive each other and can’t forgive other people? Hulk was angry and had an asshole moment as we all do when we’re angry. If people didn’t forgive us when we have asshole moments, we’d be friendless and so would they. No one would get along. I forgive him.
Cagnazzo82
@Shadeaux: It’s called context.
Girls calling each other b*tch and some random dude calling them a b*tch for not giving him their number on the street will elicit a different reaction. Context.
Someone from the south who enjoys watching NASCAR and driving a pick-up truck calling himself and his buddies rednecks will elicit a different reaction if you or I used that term to mock his culture/intelligence/class etc… Context.
That’s the difference. And it’s not that hard to understand the distinction.
Shadeaux
@Cagnazzo82: Context is correct and at no point did Hulk walk up to anyone and “ask for their number” or called a stranger a “redneck.” He was having a private “intimate” conversation and felt like venting. Which we all do. I know the difference. Do you understand the distinction would be a better question.
jason smeds
Some gay men use the f word to describe their fellow gays all the time. What’s the big deal?
Message to gay guys: you’re hypocrites.
Cagnazzo82
@Shadeaux: There is nothing universal about your ‘venting’ if that’s the type of venting you do behind closed doors. The only people I vent about are people that I specifically know in my actual life. Rather than entire amorphous groups that I feel like disparaging. Furthermore, I vent to people in their face, not behind their backs.
That being said… the distinction isn’t the setting where the statements are being made… but rather the comparison between ‘terms of endearment’ (gays calling each other the f-word), and derogatory (being called the f-word while walking down the street or being accosted, etc…).
That’s the distinction. One is ‘I love you’. The other is ‘I hate you’.
And, again, it’s not difficult to understand which is which.
Ladbrook
@jason smeds: So based on your statements, you’re comfortable using the “n” word because as we all know, there are African-Americans who do use that word when talking with each other.
And maybe it is hypocritical (reality check: it’s not) for a minority group to use a certain word that others use to attack us with, but if so, then you’d better be prepared to apply that standard to all groups. So go ahead Miss Smeds, drop some non-hypocritical lingo on us and show us what a big tough f@ggot you are.
Captain Obvious
He’s not even relevant anymore.
Daniel Bujes
Because we should all be held accountable for political views uttered during a blow job.

@Captain Obvious:
@Ladbrook:
One distinct difference tho is that when Black people refer to each other with the “n” word is that they are saying “n*gga” and not the “n” word with the er ending that the r@ cists use. Both uses are wrong as far as I’m concerned. I know many use the excuse that the “n*gga” use is a term of endearment but whatever. It’s still too close to the word that white folks created to use in a disparaging way toward Blacks. But there’s no “specialized” or altered way of f@ ggot when used by homophobes or other gay men. I don’t know why some gay men use it in a joking way but hey…if that’s what they do in their social circles and its cool within that circle I guess I gotta stay in my lane. But don’t call me either “n” word or a f@ gigot or a sp*ck since I’m half Puerto Rican.
Blackceo
@Captain Obvious:
Sorry I didn’t mean to include you in my previous post.

@Bob LaBlah: Bob Hope’s production company paid the performers for the Christmas specials, and was in turn paid a bundle by the networks for the broadcast rights.

Fucken disgusting like watching ur grandfather’s have sex thanks for that nasty thought.

Why should I care what this man said eight years ago. People do change, what they said before, they might not think that way anymore. What happen to his right of freedom of speech?
Raymond Smith
He is nothing but a cry baby Bitch .
Arcamenel
Everyone focuses on that it happened 8 years ago and he says he’s changed but in the video he admits to being r@cist…so like he just stopped being r@cist? I’m sorry but it doesn’t work that way. If it takes years to internalize r@cist, homophobic, sexist rhetoric than it only makes sense that it would just takes just as long to unlearn that but you actually have to make the attempt to do so. This is probably the only time Hogan has been called out for his bigoted views.
@Brian Grady: Freedom of speech protects you from the government not public opinion. Were you asleep when they taught that in grade school?
