We kinda love it when male models start to become famous and their agents start trying to erase their porny gay pasts. It happened with Teen Wolf actor Colton Haynes, Real World stud Dustin Zito, and now with male model Kevin Baker who works for NOUS Models.
Gay porn blog The Sword recently published some very NSFW pics from when Baker worked as “Jacob Johnson” on a website called Flirt For Free. NOUS, who also represents Tyson Beckford, apparently did not know about Johnson’s artistic porn accomplishments such as “Spreading my asshole apart!!!” but they do now. A man named Mr.Tsarinnyy (two Ns and two Ys? really?) has asked The Sword’s editor to remove the pics within 2 weeks or else “all documents relating to this matter will be submitted to the Court.”
So, you better enjoy those pics before Baker gets big or the lawsuit gets underway.

Unless the agencies are trying to get more press (all press is good press), The agencies are doing a disservice to their clients. Cam is right, a signed model release has established ownership of the images. Maybe the agencies are correct that this specific past may hurt the models future opportunities but to me their reaction appears to be plain homophobia.

Its amazing to me that gay blogs feel the need to take a someone down when it appears they have a chance and making it and bettering their life.
His lawyers aren’t stupid. He may have signed a release but it sure wasn’t with “The Sword”. They may have negotiated with “Flirt For Free” to buy the images back. They certainly don’t have to negotiate with any other blog who displays the unauthorized images. Those blogs are not a party to the agreement.

If you click on QUEERTY’s link to the original article and then to
http://www.flirt4free.com/vod/models/61037/ (NSFW – this is a set of videos or images, I presume of the guy in question), scroll down, and click on “Become a model”, you will land on http://www.webcam4money.com/?t.....t4free.com which tells perspective models, “Relax with Privacy & Security – Unlike having to dance at a bar or meet with strangers in person, performing on webcam provides you with a safe, secure environment to act out your fantasies and earn cash.” This page links to http://www.webcam4money.com/security-privacy.php which claims, “Security & Privacy – We want you to be comfortable working online. That’s why we provide you with tools that put you in control of your privacy …”
Now, these statements could have been different in the past, but if what is there right now is any guide, what was promised does not seem consistent with what actually happened. While is it is dumb to trust a porn company, it doesn’t seem that he necessarily gave blanket permission to use these images and videos any way someone else wants to.

Holy Lord he is stunning. I’m so bored of all these so-called male models with butterfaces that can’t take a good picture. Mr. Baker could have quite the career.
And this, like the Colton Haynes case, is a prime example of the Streisand Effect.

Tom Ford and Terry Richardson should give him a call!!!

outing people for being hawt enough to do porn is so jealous….

Even if they lawyer’s could win and I don’t think they can…It would be a pointless waste of money. Because once a picture is on the web it’s there forever.
The only person I know of who has managed to eradicate something from the web is Jesse Metcalfe. He gave an interview on the second season of the Ellen show where he pretty much outed himself.
I worked at a station that ran Ellen…about four of us stood in Master Control…looked at the TV and said: “I can’t believe he just said that”. Ellen looked at him open mouthed for several seconds then went on with the interview. They never re-ran that show and all the links I’ve found on the internet to the clip says things like: “clip removed at request of the owner”. That in it’s self is odd…there’s tons of clips from Ellen on youtube.
And I’m sorry, I don’t remember what he said. He was talking about his room mates and how you could see the Hollywood sign from his deck.

One other thing….
Male models basically never make it to the point where they have name recognition outside their industry. So basically this guys agency is calling attention to something that nobody else would probably have noticed. He could have been like any other sucessful male model, and made some money for a few years.
But again, as it is, if he signed a modeling releaase it is no different than if he signed a deal with Gucci then decided a year later that he was going to DEMAND that they stop running the ads he posed for. Can’t do it.

Big deal. The problem with our society is that people are so fucking hung up on sex. Who cares? Every man on the planet jacks off. He’s pretty, he wants to make money on that, great. He jacked off for the world to see, good for him. Whatever. The reality is that the younger generations know that it DOESN’T FUCKING MATTER. And as for you, Ganondorf, you’re just an asshole. But then you knew that just by referring to your gay brethren as fa99ots. Frankly he would’ve gotten even more press if his people had done NOTHING. People would be like, hey, he’s that guy! I can see his cock! Hot! But the puritanical anti-sex views of most of the oldsters is oppressive in the least.
Oh and btw, I’m old enough to be this guy’s dad. If he were my son my only concern would be that he wasn’t doing drugs or having unprotected sex. Jacking off on cam? Meh. Welcome to the internet.

@wtf
It’s okay, Chris. You’re a good boy following the law. But YOU, WTF! You’re going to jail.
So you’re old…er. Normally, I don’t talk to olds, so consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky. And before you go off on how ageist and blah blah blah gays are, go to lemonparty .org and empathize with what I see every time I see an older man (NSFW! Or peeps who wish to maintain a functional libido, e.g., if you don’t wish to cry when you masturbate for the rest of your unnatural life, don’t go there).
Back to the defining issues of our time. Some of my fellow homosexualists are fags, and apparently I’m the only one with the courage and raw overpowering masculinity to take a stand and say it! The only one with the repertoire of heroic poses to take this stand! Instead of being respected and heralded as a hero who saves lives and has single-handedly ended homophobia in our society with parades, I get crankery and scorn. Is it homophobic? That’s for the greatest minds of generations to come to debate FOR GENERATIONS. In the meantime, a simple thank you will suffice.

You’re trampling on the first amendment with your blatant disregard for the constitution. How dare you deprive me of my rights as an american with an opinion and the momentary boost of energy supplied by high fructose corn syrup to loose it on the internet. This isn’t nazi germany or stalinist russia, you hater! You’re a freedom hater.

This is why doing internet porn for quick cash is a bad idea, kiddies. Take heed. It’ll bite you in the ass eventually.

@Ganondorf: wow, you’re even more of a douchebag than any of us of originally thought. Homosexualists? Fags? Honey, whatever you’re on, you need a detox.
Old? My yes, 42 is just ANCIENT, lol. The best part about getting older is knowing that the fools who deride your age will one day be there, should they be so lucky. You, however, I wouldn’t wish that on the likes of you. Good riddance to bad rubbish. You sound like just another quisling, probably sucking on Barron’s dick. Whatever, your childish internet urchin.

@Tony: In terms of eradicating things from the internet, model Thierry Pepin managed to get images and video of his gay porn past deleted by claiming that he was underage at the time (which seems rather dubious). Thierry had a successful modeling career which included major campaigns for Ralph Lauren. If these boys would just admit to their gay porn past, claim they did it because they were desperate for cash and move on it would be a non-issue, especially at a time when porn tapes can make someone’s career (e.g. Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton). Every time a lawyer gets involved with a take down notice the model/actor/whatever in question just looks like a douche. Sometimes they actually are a douche, such as Dustin Zito, and sometimes they will just forever appear to be a douche, such as Colton Haynes.

@Ruddigore: I agree with you but would add the following: Thierry continues to be a working model signed with good agencies – an impressive feat in and of itself – but at least two of his former bookers currently with top agencies told me that they believe that the scandal damaged his career potential and that any shot at a career like that of Andres Segura, Mark Vanderloo, Tyson Ballou, et.al., (subject to the vagaries of the marketplace, the industry, the model, etc.) became history. Rumor has it that the folks at Ralph Lauren and another client were very adept at damage control. Remember Nick Snider’s “I am a famous model” Arkansas incident? His fall from grace is mindboggling. Tony Ward’s interesting past was never a problem for the Europeans (It was in the US for years), who promoted and used him for years before he achieved his “iconic status” (models.com., malemodelscene.net)in the hypocritical, puritanical American marketplace. I’m sure that his personal and professional relationship with Madonna didn’t hurt either.
I would suggest that Society and the media is more forgiving of women (Kate and Naomi, Kim and Paris, et.al.) than with guys. Collin Farrell and Tony Ward being the exceptions to the rule. I would also suggest that homophobia (whether or not the guys are gay/bi) factors in greatly. It’s not right but….
Best, JeffR

What makes you think he signed a release? http://www.webcam4money.com/?t.....t4free.com points to the sign-up page. The idea is that you can “work from home” and “control your privacy”. It’s not a standard modeling job. My guess is that they mostly just make sure the “model” is 18 years old or older, but I’m not about to sign up to check.
