Supreme Court appointees, if he can find two others to replace the 90 year old, very fair minded John Paul Stevens and the lovely Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I’ll consider that my one vote to this man wasn’t in vain.

@1EqualityUSA: Replacing JPS who is like 300 years old bless his heart, and RBG, who is battling pancreatic cancer will result in a net gain of absoute zero for the Gay cause. Both are almost guaranteed votes on the issues which affect the community. Change will not come until some of the gang of five are replaced. GWB did a thourogh job of making sure his appointments were relatively young in terms of the Supremes, The eldest is uncleThomas who is 71 years old and still healthy……………….

Images or photographs Mr. Olson and Mr. Boise need to adorn the walls of every gay household. These men are brave and risk being scorned by everybody should their efforts on our behalf fail. They are heroes to me. Even if they fail, what they’ve done is fearless.

If Mit Romney gets elected, we will have a gang of seven.

—True enough, but it matters very much whether their replacements are like them or the other side. As it is, we have four on each side and one who goes both ways. A 50:50 chance, more or less. With the current president, those odds should remain the same when one of the four on our side retires, and improve considerably when it’s one of the others; reason enough to keep him… and hope for a surprise in who leaves when.
