I know a lot of people think of dreads as dirty, and some people’s definitely are. He is not one of them. He’s super clean and his hair smells great – not a whiff of mildew or patchouli – promise!

You people are idiots. First of all, Jason is a religious guy, so I seriously DOUBT he gets high. And just because he has dreads 1) doesn’t mean he’s a stoner, and 2) doesn’t mean his hair is dirty. You people should really educate yourselves and stop judging people based on appearance. AND he is VERY talented, to have come so far after only singing for a year while most on the show have been singing their entire lives. My votes are all for you Jason…you’re a breath of fresh air!

What Simon said about his personality and demeanor last week was bang on. The kid is likable, his goofiness is endearing, and his face
could sell a song even if his voice couldn’t. I think he’s got a beautiful face and he is very real. With the proper coaching and
people behind him he could have a good career in music. As far as
the nastier comments about him, its a wonder that any young person achieves anything considering how ready we are to slam and criticize. But for some, knocking others is the only way they know how to make themselves feel better.
