‘Idol’ Stripper Hernandez Does ‘Ellen’

Time for some girl talk! Former American Idol contestant David Hernandez popped onto Ellen DeGeneres‘ show yesterday to chat about being booted from the competition, working toward a prosperous future and, yes, all the gay stripper gossip, which DeGeneres awkwardly makes Hernandez spell out for anyone who missed the scandal.

Neither Hernandez nor DeGeneres can quite understand why people care about his skin soaked past, and the comedienne showers Hernandez with praise. We think she’s got a crush. Too bad Davey’s more interested in dancing than fulfilling DeGeneres’ straight fantasies. Poor girl.

Huh? So because a lesbian is supportive of a gay man it means she has a crush on him and is having straight fantasies? Clay Aiken and Danny Noriega really need to watch their backs around Rosie then.

And on a similar subject, why is it many gay men and so quick to put down and make fun of other gay men, yet lesbians are happy to support them?

I agree. Why do you refer to him as “Stripper Hernandez,” anyway? It’s such a Daily News headline. Oh wait, the DN would title the article “GAY Stripper on LESBO Talk Show,” but that’s another story. Still, we know the deal. He shouldn’t be berated on LGB media outlets, too.

Alexa and JMC: I suppose it’s because we like to eat our own, literally and figuratively.
