If Only Blake McGrath’s Bisexuality Was On Full Display In ‘Night’

Last year, after learning Blake McGrath is bi, we fell even harder for the cocky one-time So You Think You Can Dance contestant. Now a judge on Canada’s version of the show, he’s added another hyphenate to his CV: singer. This week, after a much-hyped (Twitter and YouTube) build up, McGrath has released the video for “Night (Only Place To Go).” And it’s exactly what we needed.
The video feels like a male version of Britney Spears’ “Circus.” It’s catchy. It’s sexy. And in an unexpected era of the return of music videos as art (see: Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”; M.I.A.’s “Born Free”), McGrath’s “Night” is both aspirational and artful. Appreciate it for what it is: A dance track with a great hook, decipherable lyrics, and a hot guy on vocals.
Now if he would just chill about his love for Rick Warren, we’d be all set.

He is absolutely beautiful to look at and the song is quite decent. I like!

and the little back alley interlude was a pretty direct reference to the homo side of his sexuality.

Someone needs to tell his people to make sure his stuff is up on iTunes before it hits the Web.

The music industry won’t allow a male singer to market himself as bisexual. It will only allow female singers to do this.
This homophobic double standard exists right throughout the music industry.

I like the song and music video. He’s hot. Loved the shot of his nipple ring at 1:20.

He was on the Jennifer Lopez dance show and was totally flaming….and lived in Mae West’s building no less!!!

So, a totally masculine/straight acting guy can be gay, but a slightly feminine guy can’t be bisexual or straight?
He attractive and very talented; all power to him admitting that he is bisexual.
At least he’s admitted to being bisexual, not like any of the prominent American figure skaters that are having a major hissy fit as of late.

It’s nice, but he makes Adam Joseph (“Faggoty Attention”) sound butch.

It is alright, but here is something I never thought I would say. Brittany Spears is a better singer/lip syncher. Watching his mouth move when he “sang” was a lot like watching me trying to be a ventriloquist with my daughter’s teddy bear.

It wasn’t great but it was ok. It wasn’t awkward to watch. I thought it would be a complete disaster. So there’s some potential there at least. We’ll see if he get’s any more support.

I’ve never heard of this guy. He’s cute. The song has an ok beat, but he’s not a great singer. However, you don’t have to be a great singer in the 21st century.

Thanks for putting your people including a Moore that is our family’s name we will hope fully get around him being famous! I like to meet him when I am ready!
