Quinn is the most boring Governor we have ever had, but he consistently does the right thing.

His flashy forebears are often in jail, so boring can be good.

Having been born and lived the first 32 years of my life in Illinois, I think the state can definately do with a boring governor. Although it is Illinois, so I always assume that the government’s motivation for doing the right thing is realizing that there’s money to be made.

      We need more boring politicians.

Washington had Marion Barry and nearly a half billion dollar deficit. Then Anthony Williams came in, the most boring guy ever and within a few years DC had a few hundred million dollar surplus and crime was way down.

The country could use a few more boring politicians.

“CHICAGO (AP) — Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn says he doesn’t know if he would support legislation that would give same sex couples the same rights as heterosexual couples.

The Democrat supported same sex civil unions, which became legal in Illinois last summer. However, he said Tuesday he wants to study issues surrounding same-sex marriage before he makes a decision..

The “Religious Freedom and Marriage Fairness Act” was introduced in the Illinois House earlier this month. It would eliminate the part of state law that prohibits gay marriages and offer same sex couples the rights currently available exclusively to heterosexual couples.”

How can you not know if you support equal rights?
