Republican voters in Illinois will champion State Sen. Bill Brady’s gubernatorial campaign, for it promises to to make tax increases more difficult and voting district redrawing harder for lawmakers. Oh, and he wants to ban gay marriage at the constitutional level.
Brady, who’s expected to take the GOP’s nomination for governor, announced yesterday he would push to ban both marriage and civil unions for gays and lesbians by passing a constitutional amendment. And as his own campaign website proudly notes in republishing a Chicago Tribune article, in 2005 he voted against adding sexual orientation to anti-discrimination housing and employment laws.

Yeah, that’s the face of a deeply-closeted douchebag who condemns gays (cuz he’s a big butch MANLY man!) during business hours and then blows strangers at truckstops outside Chicago for quarters.
How long until he gets busted in a gay sex solicitation sting in a men’s room at O’Hare Airport…?

So now in Illinois we have the choice between this uberdouche and a guy who hasn’t learned lessons from the past and takes responsibility for the early release of some viloent offenders who, guess what? go out and commit crimes? What are we thinking in Illinois?

Where do all of these douchebags come from?
It appears that there is an endless supply of them.

Goebbel’s defined the idea of Totaler Krieg, which is what is going on towards the gay community. They say we’re ruining their society by just being around but I say they’re terrorists and should be waterboarded in Key West.

Sad fact is that Illinois is facing a “lesser of two evils” situation. Urban Illinois skews highly Dem., rural skews Rep., and suburbia goes back and forth.
Neither candidate, based on what I’ve read/heard is highly prized by his own party. Neither has a stellar track record in terms of his party’s “core issues.” Unless Bray devises a gameplan that focuses on issues other than gay issues, he’s missing out on what matters most to the Reps.: that the state is near bankruptcy, bleeding jobs, and considered to be completely corrupt.
The Dems. have a candidate who hasn’t yet honed a message that speaks to the power-brokers’ interests, and faces the taint of “Elvis” Blago, the prison-bound ex-Gov.
Not a pretty sight here in the heartland. Stay tuned.

I was forced into working a fundraiser for him. The guy is a prick! I would sooner see Blagojevich back in office.

@RW in LGB: If somebody has any dirt on this guy, please do something. Brady will be a disaster. Although if he gets elected, maybe my partner will finally agree to leave the shithole that is Springfield, Il.
