Illinois: You’ll Get Your Civil Unions At The End Of The Month

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn says he’ll sign the state’s civil unions bill into law on Jan. 31. Way to bogart Carol Channing’s birthday, dude.

      It’s not perfect, but it’s a start. Why is it all the mid-western states are getting it, but not here in Nebraska?

      I wish such laws had a chance of passing in michigan. It feels like the whole country is passing us up.
