"Improbable."

Sam Nunn, the former Senator who pushed for Don't Ask, Don't Tell, appeared on MSNBC today and asserted that it's improbable Barack Obama would ask him to be VP. It's also improbable that he would accept. "Improbable squared," he said, which should please Wayne Besen and David Mixner.

McCain has his share of problems, not he least of which is that he's computer illiterate. He admits that it’s hard for him to 'use the google' to vet his list of VP choices. So this is where Obama can help poor McCain out and win points by looking ever so bipartisan and 'Presidential'.

All Obama has to do is give his senior advisor Sam Nunn to McCain as a running mate. Sam Nunn, like most Congressional Democrats, has impeccable credential as a bigot plus he hates unions with a purple passion and like all leading politicians in both parties he fully intends to continue the genocide in Iraq.

Right centrists like Nunn will feel right at home in either party. And, with his problem solved, poor McCain won’t have to 'use the google". That would be a bridge too far for the old warhorse.

It's a win-win situation for Obama, Nunn and McCain.
