In the Navy

"As president of Manhattan's Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, Bill White has managed the restoration of a World War II aircraft carrier. Now, some Congressional and former military leaders think the Long Island native should manage the entire U.S. Navy. They are touting the 41-year-old Manhattan resident as secretary of the Navy in the Obama administration. The appointment would make [White] the first openly gay chief of a branch of the military."

What is Obama, Inc., using to blackmail you with to force you to put forth this distraction from reality a SECOND time! Keep it up and as stupid as most people are Obama's Fag Troll Patrol will soon be saying that this guy IS the new Navy Secty. e.g., your poster yesterday who read it as if OBAMA was suggesting the guy for the job and not some naive wishful thinkers.

There's no more chance that this will happen than Obama cancelling Rick Warren's invitation to enrich himself further and validate his homohatred to billions. No, I don't mean he'll verbally bash gays Jan. 20th.

Please, gives us another Madge and her millions story; another one of your jack offs about Anderson Coward Cooper. Compared to this fantasy they deserve a Net Pulitzer.

Barack Obama is building up enough clout that he'll be able to appoint this guy without enormous opposition. You guys can't see the brilliance of his moves but I do.

I look forward to Leland Frances' response when Queerty posts the news of his appointment. Maybe he'll finally be able to let go of some of that Clintonite bitterness.

It would be cool to have an openly gay military leader… and I think it would serve the gay community well to have a representative to the rest of America who was viewed with power and dignity, rather than as a flaming sissy.

I don't think he should be chosen JUST because he's gay…

but, if he's as qualified for the position as another candidate… I'm thinking affirmative action should come into play.

He wouldn't have the respect of so many peers if his only claim to fame is that he's gay (nor would I support him). He seems very capable from what I've been reading.
