the headline is so misleading to the content of the news just to evoke curiosity. any indian citizen has the right to challenge any ruling given by a court irrespective of his profession.

My thought exactly Strump – also, when I was scrolling quickly through this and I thought it said INDIANA Supreme Court. I scrolled on, didn’t read it the first time through and then it kind of “scared” me that when I actually thought it was Indiana, it didn’t even surprise me! (that is how goofed up this country can be sometimes, so I thought “par for the course.”)

They agreed to hear a petition from a man who is an astrologer, you mean. Religious groups petitioning hearings or inquiries is not such an odd thing.

To say they “turned to” him though implies that they were actively soliciting policy input – like the White House Office of Faith Based Initiatives.
