On Monday in Indiana, the House Judiciary Committee approved a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage in a 8-4 vote. Yesterday in Maryland, the Senate’s Judicial Proceedings Committee — where most of the 11 members co-sponsored a bill legalizing same-sex marriage — hosted six hours of testimony from advocates and Bible-thumping opponents of the issue, which has a “good chance” of passing. In Rhode Island today, the House Judiciary Committee will hear a bill to legalize same-sex marriage. WHAT ABOUT THE ECONOMY! WHAT ABOUT SCHOOLS! WHAT ABOUT FENDING OFF ALIENS!

I don’t understand why people care about this unless they are gay themselves. Don’t they have jobs? Hobbies? Bills to pay? I mean, jeeze, I wish I had the time to worry about how other people file joint tax returns & visit injured people in the hospital.
