Is There a Ouija Board That’ll Let Us Hear From the Dead Gay Soldiers at Iwo Jima?

Lots of good comments here. It’s just a shame that we can’t hear opinions from one particular group — all those homosexual men that died at Omaha Beach, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Pork Chop Hill, the Plain of Reeds, Ramallah …

See Air Force service members vigorously debate DADT. Click through Queerty’s VIA to read their comments.. It’s tough to read many of them, be forewarned.

Guys, make sure you get on the website and post a comment by clicking on the “via” icon above. You don’t need to be registered, just give an email address. Challenge the nonsensical homophobic comments.

I posted by saying something like “You guys may be required to drop bombs and kill people, yet you’re afraid of serving next to a known gay guy. If you’re so scared of gays, you shouldn’t be serving in the first place.”.

This DADT repeal ‘study’ is just an excuse to give a forum to homophobes. It would be like asking the KKK what it thinks of having blacks serving. Don’t fall for it.

It’s an attempt to create negativity as part of the review. It’s designed to create a narrative of negativity. Again, don’t fall for it.

We also need to put the feet of Democrats to the fire, proverbially speaking. By instigating a DADT repeal House Vote recently, the Democrats have succeeded in shutting us up, a convenient development in the lead-up to the Congressional elections.

We need to make it clear to Democrats that we won’t countenance their tactics. We won’t shut up. Unless we get a clear commitment for repeal of DADT, we won’t vote for them.

Don’t let the Democrats use a negative DADT study as an excuse to shut us out yet again.
