It Wasn't Neil, and It Wasn't Danny
Congrats to Sabra

In the end, it was neither Neil Haskill or Danny Tidwell who took home the $250,000 prize on last night's So You Think You Can Dance. The winner, as you already know by now, was Sabra Johnson.

Which suits us just fine — the girl deserved it. That, and last night's finale revisited some of our favorite Neil and Danny performances.

Bonus clip of Neil's farewell, after the jump. (Who are his "friends" Zack and Michael out in the audience?)

Meanwhile, here's Neil's MySpace profile, where his response to a survey question about "Single or Group Dates" he responds "Depends on if the other person is all awkward and shit." And we all know what "person" means.

The title for this TV "program" should be "So You Think This Is Dancing?". When I was in high school, people who did this sort of "dance" thing were called spazzes. In this day and age, I'd call it mad cow disease symptom.

No 2 - are we thinking of the same show? There's plenty of junk on it, sure, but there's plenty that's pretty authentic & respected in the field. Neil Haskell danced for Twyla Tharp, and Danny was already an established ballet dancer in NYC. Wade Robson and Mia Michaels can choreograph pieces that are absolutely sublime. I think this show started aiming for the lowest common denominator, a la American Idol, but it has stumbled on some pretty serious talent.

That, and the men on this show are the hottest fucking things on tv these days.
