Long before there was Barney Frank and Tammy Baldwin Canada has had openly gay and lesbians running for office and getting elected. Interesting that when they announced their candidacy there was only one newspaper that mentioned by-the-way that they were gay. For the media in Canada it’s a non issue.
Great to see the pages of history starting to turn a little faster for all of us.

Its a wonderful conundrum, isnt it . I’m not Canadian but it shows how the world has changed for gay people worldwide
