It’s official, guys. Gio Benitez is a married man.
After what may have been one of the most romantic proposals ever in front of the Eiffel Tower last September, the 30-year-old ABC news correspondent tied the knot with his fiancé, Tommy DiDario, in Miami over the weekend.

160 friends and family witnessed Benitez and DiDario exchange vows just before sunset at the historic Walton House, a picturesque 1917 English cottage surrounded by lush, tropical gardens.

Oh, but it gets better. Because their wedding song was Il Volo’s cover of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from Disney’s The Lion King.

How narcissistic do you have to be to be posting on Instagram all through your wedding/night?
And to really care that you’re trending on Facebook? Is this what life has come to?

Uhhh, everyone takes pictures on their wedding day; that’s why you hire a photographer. According to some of the captions, the pics were posted the day after the wedding, not while the wedding was happening.

Looks like they and their guests genuinely had fun. Wish more weddings were like that.

Glad to see news guys come out of the closet. A brand new world. Good for them
Southstguy
of course you have a wedding photographer, I just find it sad that anyone would be posting photos during the wedding/reception instead of celebrating. The addiction to getting “likes” taking over society is sad.
seaguy
@Southstguy You are being presumptuous with your criticism and could be wrong. Maybe they were posting the pics during the wedding because it is easy to do that with a smart phone and maybe they have lots of family and friends who were unable to attend but wanted to be part of the event still. It is not always about getting likes sometimes it is about sharing in your joy.

@Southstguy: I agree with you but it’s the way of the world in 2016

Il Volo? Yuck! I thought Gio was hipper than that. Anyway, congratulations, guys!

Oh, yes, I forgot. I guess this will put to rest the rumors that Gio and David Muir were carrying on.
