The Real World: Brooklyn's Scott Herman has an obsession with being a superhero. He told us so himself (and that he wants to be cast as Captain America), and then showed audiences he stood up for those in need. And when it came to Halloween costumes, well, there's this.

And then there are these shots from last week's episode, though we could do without most guys wearing huge fur coats:

This whole line of worship of Scott is shows why a lot of gay media is clueless. Yeah, Scott is a cute straight guy who is gay friendly. So, what? Why put him on a pedestal like this?

Why is there a lack of attention to the gay and trans roommates on the Realworld? "But Scott is so cute and he's gay friendly." Whatever. This is like the same crap "The Advocate" and "Out" pull by always displaying straight celebrities on their covers.
