Chicago comedian Noah Minnick is the cheeky devil behind the blog Gay Captions, which takes vintages illustrations and pairs them with sassy gay witticisms. Kind of like we do here at Queerty. (Don’t even think of stealing our gig, girlfriend!)
Noah’s also working on a Gay Captions book (ooh, how retro) that would use these old-timey images to explore bigger cultural and political issues, with input from other queer Chicago comics. “A lot of Gay Captions take a light-hearted look at these issues,” he says about his current KickStarter campaign, “but I’d like the book to address these issues on a broader scale—using humor to point out so much of the hypocrisy that exists today.”
Below is a video teaser featuring some of Minnick’s captions.

The Dysfunctional Family Circus was much funnier due to its vulgarity. http://www.angelfire.com/wa/trondog/dfc/circus3.jpg , http://www.angelfire.com/wa/trondog/dfc/circus_priest.gif

For those of you who prefer it more highbrow, there’s The Nietzsche Family Circus, pairing a random Nietzsche quote with a random Family Circus panel. http://www.losanjealous.com/nfc/
