Jada Pinkett Smith Gives You Permission to Keep Pushing Those Gay Rumors

ebonyjada

SOUNDBITES — “You want people to talk about you, because once they stop talking about you that’s when you’re really in trouble! I’m happy to have people talk about all the craziness they want to talk about, whether it’s things like every year we’re getting divorced or we’re an open family or Will’s gay, or I’m gay. … When Will asked me to get married, I said, ‘Understand this, there will be no divorce. So, you might be in one bedroom and I might be in another, but we’re gonna be under the same roof and we’re gonna be married.” —Jada Pinkett Smith, on those gay and open marriage rumors [Ebony via CB]

@Jonathan: It’s the opposite for me. I’ve been in love with Jada since “A Different World.” Never liked Will.

When Will asked me to get married, I said, “Understand this, there will be no divorce. So, you might be in one bedroom and I might be in another, but we’re gonna be under the same roof and we’re gonna be married.”

So I guess this means they are both gay?

That’s a very interesting quote. You can read a lot of things into it. I am choosing to believe they both play around but stay married for appearances.

Jada’s solid. I’m gonna be a dork and say I have a huge girl-crush on her for being kick ass and awesome as Naiobe in the Matrix trilogy. But you gotta respect her for her commitment. She doesn’t do bullshit. I like her.

Poor Jada is going to have to buy some intense and expensive auditing sessions for this…

It is Lord Xenu’s will that these two handsome earthlings remain together and propogate new Operating Thetans for the Glory of LRH.

Not only do I LOVE with all my heart both Jada and Will I give many thanks to Will for not torturing us with another movie for the rest of the year. His last 5 movies were horrific in both screenplay and acting. He could no longer hide behind the obvious. He did it (and so would I) for the $25 million plus payday they ALL offered. He had to know they all sucked even while he read the scripts.

As for Jada I think she is looking at it more in the sense where if Will is no longer in the spotlight then she ain’t either. Right now there is such a flood of black women playing the white version of Desperate Housewives on TV and in film (beyonce’s new movie sounds like one, The Game and such) that she has no career options that would really make her, Jada, stand out anymore than those other unknown (for the most part) actresses.

But still you go girl. I love you and Will and the rest of the family.

I think Jada is great. That being said, if you want to downplay “rumors,” I’m not sure writing and directing a film like “The Human Contract” with Hubby acting as an executive producer is the best idea in the world.
