Jake Shears Settling Down
Jake Shears really has something to sing about.
Britain’s Sunday Mirror reports that there’s wedding bells in the Scissor Sisters front man’s future. Shears and his long-time beau, Chris, will gather their family and friends – including Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Little Britain‘s Matt Lucas and the legendary Kylie Minogue – for a New Jersey wedding next spring. In addition to popping the question, Shears apparently purchased a Manhattan not-so-bachelor pad. Of the blissful news, a friend squealed:
They are both blissfully happy with their apartment and the wedding is the next thing. They’re ready to show everyone they’re together. The apartment was a big commitment for Jake and Chris because it’s a large place in Tribeca – Manhattan’s coolest district. A wedding just takes it all on to another level, but one thing is for sure – it will be fabulous.They have a bit of time until next year to pick the best of everything.
The “best” reportedly includes a very special Scissor Sisters track. No doubt it’ll leave listeners – and guests – more than comfortably numb.
