Jamaican Activist, 26, Stabbed To Death
The body of a 26-year-old Jamaican man, who was a member of the Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-Sexuals and Gays, was found stabbed to death behind an insurance company building in Kingston Nov. 3. The advocacy group is calling for a full investigation.

As I understand it, the victim wasn’t necessarily an activist but they were dressed as a woman when found dead. They might actually be a trans woman or perhaps someone who’s gay/gender variant like Jorge Steven Lopez Mercado in Puerto Rico who was dressing as a woman while doing sexwork.
