With some shout outs to Melissa, Ellen, and Rosie for paving the way, actress Jane Lynch tells Katie Couric “it’s not such a big deal anymore” to be out in Hollywood. “You know what, I really don’t think about it. It’s not like I have a strategy how to deal with my orientation. I’m just very open about who I am, and I’m more than just that.”

Jane Lynch “is who she is.” She’s a terrific actor & shines no matter what role she plays.
Huge fan here of Ms. Lynch on TV (Glee & oh yeah, she also played a sarcastic shrink on Two & a Half Men trying to “fix” Charlie Sheen) & movies (“Best in Show” was brill-i-ant—hey, go Netflix that if u never saw it).
Her Glee role as cheer leading coach calls for her to be kicka$$ but she ++always++ is good for a laugh in her knockdown comments to the poor drama club kids. Woman knows how to hit a line of dialog out of the ballpark — not too may actors can do that (well, Tina Fey can & Lilly Tomlin can too,..but Jane’s a keeper!)

Love, love, LOVE Jayne Lynch!
Her ‘Vogue’ homage was simply brilliant. I’ve been a fan since ‘Best in Show.’ She’s a national treasure.
I hope Loren Michaels doesn’t wait until she’s 80 years old to invite her to host SNL.
