Why is the documentary only focusing on Trans people? Why not include bisexuals, gay men, and lesbians too?
·
@Brandon: Because bisexuals, gays and lesbians aren’t transgendered. Duuuuuuuuh! The L, G and B are already being better understood and gaining acceptance. The T? Not so much. Can you maybe take the focus off yourself and stop being so stereotypical for just one documentary?

I’m not a huge fan of molecules and atoms, believing that once the energy is gone, the whole world and the people in it will fall to meaningless dust, hologram-like.
I will certainly watch this documentary in an effort to try to understand. At the risk of offending some, I do believe that bodies are temporary vessels that are discarded and left by the wayside, in death. Can true happiness be found in molecules and atoms? It’s obvious that I don’t understand why this shell is given more importance than it is due. Muscles, tans, make-up, cosmetic surgeries, and all the trappings of ego and sense of self seem futile, though my opinions hold no authority. I’ve just seen too much death in my life to be enamored with flesh. Flesh is lacking. It’s like trying to drive a Volvo to the moon, it just lacks. I wish I could understand more fully the complexities of gender dysphoria, however, through all of the conversations about the physical, Mr. Death is hanging over my shoulder, putting our existence into perspective. Good luck with your project, Ms. Jackson. I hesitated to respond to this post. I will watch your informative documentary and likely come away with a more educated perspective. Please know that I mean no offense by my questions or views on bodies. We need to talk more and understand each other more. Thanks for making this possible.

JayKay: “TransMEN aren’t people. You’re only a person if you have a working penis.”
There, JayKay. I’ve already taken the liberty to write something that can come from your simple hick-town logic. There’s no need for you to stop injecting cement into your member just so you can bang your beard. Have a great day, hon.
