Call me old-fashioned, but I always thought that fundraisers should be for federally recognized non-profits. Maybe the LGBT community in LA is different; but, here in South Florida, we’d never throw an event to raise money for a film and call it a fundraiser.

It never ceases to amaze me how hateful the bitter queens can be. He doesn;t look like a woman; he doesn’t look high; it doesn’t look like he is wearing makeup. You people are just bitter and hateful. Find some joy in your own lives so you don’t have to continuously criticize others.

Zack, yes, movies do need fundraisers, especially small gay ones. It’s the nature of things.
IveHadIt, while you are entitled to your opinion, you aren’t entitled to your facts.
-Corrigan isn’t a “murder suspect.” The DA in the case said so and convicted the two dildoheads who actually committed the murder.
-He was also the one who came forward and admitted to being underage when he made his first porn films. His studio did not.
-In the five years since he made his last bareback film, he’s become a strong advocate for safer-sex, especially to young people, by doing PSAs, filming condom-only videos, and discussing the importance of people to protect themselves from HIV.
I don’t know if those are “shining examples of the gay community” but they are examples of a young man growing up in public, bettering himself along the way. That’s more than most people, gay or straight, have to contend with.

1) I’m only 27 so I don’t think I qualify as a bitter queen. I’m not old enough to be bitter yet. :)
2) Are you blind? I wasn’t sure at first glance when I asked, but investigating the photo you can see his lips are even redder than Hewitt’s, his cheeks are the same color, his skin is unnaturally flawless just like hers, and she definitely has makeup on.
Just because we’re all gay doesn’t mean we all have to fawn over a porn star. Most of us weren’t even bashing him it’s just really damned obvious he has makeup on his face and last time I checked it’s still taboo for a man to powder his nose.
That said I get why he did it, he’s a performer, and he’s being seen in a lot of photos. He’s gotta keep up the appearance of perfection like any other celebrity, but you need to calm down with the rage because it’s just not that serious. Like it or not he does look really womanly in that photo.
