The soon-to-be washed up actor went a bit mad after blogger Perez Hilton joked about his potential homosexuality.
…Hilton was left in a panic when Metcalfe threatened to murder him – after he “joked” the actor was gay.

Hilton was unnerved when Desperate Housewives hunk Metcalfe took speculation over his sexuality seriously.[Says Hilton] “That was quite negative energy. He was drunk and said he wanted me dead. I was quite shocked. I’d only joked that he might be gay, what’s the big deal?”
Perhaps Metcalfe’s simply trying to emulate his new butch image. Or maybe Hilton hit a nerve…

I remember back in days of denial if someone even implied that I was gay I was ready to rip their face off. I don’t know much about Hilton, and really don’t care about him or Mr. Metcalfe. But I love straight guys like Beckham, who have the confidence to wear what they want, show off their bodies knowing that most who are looking at them are gay and feel okay, even complimented by it. There is nothing sexier than a guy who is sexually comfortable with him self, straight, gay or anywhere in between.

If that’s how he identifies himself, it’d be pretty silly to start calling him Mario when I don’t know him that personally + didn’t know of him as “Mario” before I did as “Perez”.

Jesse’s only talent is his great body. One of the TV entertainment magazines ran a story about him not having $20 to pay the parking attendant at a local Los Angeles night club, not even one of the a-list ones> Let’s face it has lived far too long on his appearances on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. True, he was on the datytime soap, PASSIONS, for 5 years before going over to prime time. And he did one total flop film, JOHN TURNER MUST DIE which wasn’t much above scale. What have we seen him in since? A few more low budget films without much merit are in the hopper, as they say. Hardly the stuff of a star, let alone a superstar. Only in your mind Jesse. Even less successful actors have more credits than JM does.
As to the anti-gay remarks, it is probably partly to enhance his macho image. It is awfully clear he looks too pretty, maybe even prettier than his female co-star not unlike the late John Derek back in the 1950s. Maybe Jesse can convince beautiful women to pose nude for him, so he can be a respectable has bee.

Jesse behaved like a school boy who fooled around with his best friend and liked it a little more than he felt he should have. He made things worse for his rep by behaving in such a vicious manner.
