Jim Carrey, who will appear in a softcore gay pornography film next month, says he too can relate to bullied youths. “It’s like an old antiquated way of thinking that you can’t have anymore,” Carrey tells MTV’s Josh Horowitz of leading douchebags. “Some of the most valuable people in my life are gay. People that bring magical, amazing gifts and contributions to my life. I would say to kids out there, when they are engaging in these kind of isolations of people, some day you are going to want those people in your life. You’re gonna need those people in your life. You’re not gonna want that on you conscious.”

I will be more interested when Carrey denounces the homophobic humor in some of his earlier movies.

@Tom: Wow, can’t anyone here be happy about anything? Give the guy some credit for what he just said.
Mr. Enemabag Jones
Funny, I know a guy who went to school with him, and he said he was a horrible bully while there, and more so to some of the disabled students who attended the school’s special-ed classes.
Hilarious
Celebrities say and do whatever is trendy at the moment. Yawn.

@Gary B.:
I will give him credit when he acknowledges past mistakes. Oh wow! Another straight male celebrity plays one f’ing gay role and hops on the train of celebrities condemning bullying! Yippee! There was that enough credit? Bugger off.
