Queerty is better as a member
Conservative thinking and radical governments [sadly completely condoned and encouraged by our UK government given Australia was essentially a satellite nation of the UK at the time] did all those things.
Nazis, paedophiles and ethnic cleansing are all textbook conservative occurrences.
Hopefully a good case of the cancer will shut him up, he might even change his tune a little before he slowly dies, either way we win.
it all makes complete sense… accept your nature as shameful and evil, endure the lifelong psychic violence of thwarting your deepest emotional and physical instincts, proceed to enter into a guilt-laden deceit of a heterosexual relationship; or alternatively resign yourself to a life eschewing all intimacy, to die without ever knowing another’s loving touch; and by dint of your shameful nature believing your self unlovable, except, of course, by that all-loving god — who, in the first instance, singled you out as the victim of his cruel whim.
yes it stands to reason that the above healthy lifestyle would buy it’s adherent an twenty extra years over any shameful lifestyle devotee, and that it’s sheer joy would obviate the desire for oblivion through drugs alcohol or suicide. you better believe those extra twenty years would be quality ones to savour.…what were we all thinking?!
I hold the ‘honour’ of having outed Jim Wallace for his gay hate views and having him removed as a Men’s Health Ambassador in Australia(which makes it even more weird that the Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, would now want to schnuggle up with the Australian Christian Lobby). That said, Wallace is correct in saying that all the statistics pointing to the gloomy health prospects for us LGBTI people come from our own community. For instance, the LGBTI Health Alliance, has long trumpeted the absolutely false statistic that LGBTI people are 14 times more likely to commit suicide than their straight counterparts. The misplaced use of sensationalist claims by the LGBTI community to try and impress upon government and other key decision makers that we are the most oppressed was always flawed and ultimately bound, as here with the homophobic Wallace, to backfire.
