245-year-old Pat Robertson has built a career out of spewing hateful nonsense while hosting the Christian-focused television show The 700 Club.
In the past, the prehistoric televangelist has said a person can catch AIDS from used gym towels, claimed gay people and “awful-looking women” alike are ruining marriage, and pined for a “vomit” button of Facebook, among countless other things.
Now, Jimmy Kimmel has compiled some of Robertson’s greatest pearls of wisdom all in one video.
“Tonight we study the long-time teachings of the host of The 700 Club who’s thoughts we’ve been filing away for months now,” Kimmel says.

I can’t stand this loser Pat Robertson… ugh. And I don’t understand how that stupid 700 Club show is still on the air.

I can’t believe people still watch or listen to the likes of Pat Robertson. Why can’t conservatives see this guy and others like him for the morons they portray themselves to be? As soon as he opens his mouth, it’s obvious to me this guy doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. Through all the gaffes and sheer nonsense they talk about, why isn’t obvious to them?

The 700 Club is still on the air because Pat Robertson made it a dealbreaker to the contract when Disney bought what would become the ABCFamily channel. They have to carry his show.
So here’s what Disney/ABCFamily does about it: they relegate Pat to the late evening hours and then regularly stuff their shows with prominent LGBT characters (as on “Pretty Little Liars,” “Greek,” “Chasing Life,” and “The Fosters,” which centers on a family headed by lesbian mothers).
It must make Pat’s head explode.
