John McCain: ‘Betrayal’ to American Troops To Attach DADT Repeal to Pentagon Budget Bill

On the Senate floor yesterday, Sen. John McCain expressed his fears about attaching “irrelevant, very controversial issues” to the Defense Department budget reauthorization bill.

“It’s disgraceful to have it on this legislation without the survey being done about our battle effectiveness and the morale of the men and women in the military,” he told his colleagues. Sen. Carl Levin responded: Dude, shuddup, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

When is this man going to leave the Senate? His principals checked out three years ago.

      He’s a complete embarrassment now.

Many consider GATT to be a ‘betrayal’ to American workers, and yet he was quite enthusiastic about it.

His wife needs to take a page from Lysistrata and start denying him sex.

Explain to me again why this guy was fit to succeed the pro-gay Barry Goldwater?

No John, it was a betrayal to the American Troops for you to vote against bringing their GI benefits back up to where they used to be, keeping them poor and unable to get good schooling benefits afterwards. Your excuse was that if you brought back the benefits, some of them might be able to afford to leave the service.

You want to keep them as indentured servants. You betrayed them just like you betrayed them in 1968 when you signed and taped an anti-American propoganda confession for the North Vietnamese. Shame on you.

If Sen. McCain is so worried about protecting this country, why does he want to waste everyone in the military’s time and push for some damn survey that in it of its self is a disgrace to the gay men and women currently serving in the armed forces?

It must be torture for Al Franken to sit there watching this man convulse, and nearly loose a finger wrapping it up in that live mic wire. If he went back to comedy he would have a lifetime of material, I hope he writes a book. The Dems should bring any peace of legislation involving GBLT through the Defense Authorization Bill to steam cantankerous old John. This is a man that nearly crashed a jet dare-deviling, and was parked in the pilots chair during the demise of four jet. Failure to take evasive maneuvers when he heard the warning signs of a surface to air missile locking on him in a taxpayer funded multimillion dollar aircraft was a betrayal of…

His wife is riding shotgun with all of his antics, she smoothly moved Johns first wife out of the way so she would have access to the power that Senate seat provides. Her and Meg NoH8 campaign crap is about continuing to have access to all the cocktail party’s north, south, east, and west of the Rio Grande. Not to mention all the other luxury’s they enjoy at the hands of GBLT. “It’s the drive-by that — the drivers of cars with illegals in it that are intentionally causing accidents on the freeway.” -John S. McCain : anyone else here those marbles roll by.

@Baxter: oh please, the man is completely useless. conservatives hate him because the year 2000 version was actually sane and moderate. Liberals hate him because in 2008 he went full metal conservatard to pander to the lizard-brain republican base.

      His time is over.
