While we’ve already listed the 13 hottest football studs facing off on the gridiron at today’s Super Bowl, we hadn’t entertained the notion that the New England Patriots’ star quarterback might appear in an unconventional outfit. That is, until figure-skating prince Johnny Weir mentioned it to us at last night’s HRC swanky dinner gala, held in midtown Manhattan’s elegantly appointed Waldorf Astoria.
“I’m rooting for Tom Brady in a loincloth,” Weir told Queerty, with his brand-new husband Victor Voronov on his arm. “But, the Giants, of course.” Weir is a resident of New Jersey, so it makes sense. (He lives there because there’s no Olympic-level skating rink in NYC.)
Voronov is playing for the same team as Johnny in more ways than one, too—he told us he’s also rooting for the Giants… and for some junk food. “Johnny’s going to make me some nachos,” he said. “We already talked about it earlier today.”
See more of what Johnny had to say in the video interview above, including his thoughts on Obama’s avoidance of the gay agenda, the marriage-equality bill bubbling up in his home state of New Jersey, and why he likes “Michelle Obama’s arm muscles and her fashion.”
How about we take this to the next level?
