Judge Tells Constance McMillen’s Old High School: Pay The $81k Legal Bill

For the privilege of banning Constance McMillen from her high school prom and leaving his with only a civil rights lawsuit as recourse, the Itawamba County School District will have to pay more than $81k in legal fees, federal Judge Glen H. Davidson ruled today. (Though I thought Constance’s ACLU attorneys had settled for $35k in July?) Think about the awesome band they could’ve booked for prom instead.

Just think of all the double wides, orders of neckbones in gravy, halter-tops, and John Deer Trucker hats that money COULD have bought the students down there.

Good Job Constance! It’s obvious the school wasn’t using their funds to teach anything anyway.

And i hope the School sends out a letter telling each and every open minded tax payer what they are being forced to pay because of an ignorant school superintendant and every other paid employee who took it upon themselves to dicriminate in the public sector. They should be FIRED!!!

i would be down at the next council and school board meetings demanding those responsible for this lawsuit be terminated. They have been proven to be a danger to children.
