Did Defense Cast Enough Doubt?

Jury Deliberating Navy Gay Porn, Sex Tape Trial

Kevin Ronan’s no doubt squirming at the moment.

A Naval Academy jury’s currently deliberating over whether or not the Navy Commander secretly taped male lodgers having sex with their girlfriends. Ronan’s defense attorney used his closing arguments to cast reasonable doubt on his accusers, one of whom forged a college transcript and withheld evidence. The disgraced doctor claims the soldier and his accomplice are trying to get revenge. Prosecutors called this story “”utterly preposterous.”

Ronan’s defense also attempted to shoot a hole in the prosecution’s downloaded porn story. A computer technician testified that someone downloaded the porn at 4:50am on January 29th. Ronan claims he had been traveling to his office at the time. He allegedly arrived there at 5am and, thus, could not have downloaded said porn.

A jury, of course, will have to decide who’s telling the truth and who’s up to no good. Ronan will be sentenced the moment a “guilty” verdict’s read, which seems a bit unfair. At least let him have one last wank.
