Just Because Zac Efron and Bubba Lewis Shot a Couple Movies Together Doesn’t Mean They’re Anything More Than Co-Stars
We’re not saying this is Zac Efron’s boyfriend. We’re just saying Bubba Lewis and Mr. Efron are especially close. Here they are at an Oscar eve birthday party for Lewis at Hard Rock. The two co-starred in 2004′s Miracle Run, and again very briefly in 17 Again, though Lewis’ role in the film — just like in Efron’s life — is uncredited.

Putting your arm around another man’s shoulders isn’t really gay. Putting your hand any where below his shoulder blades is definately gay. Putting your hand on another man’s lower back means you’re choosing fabric samples and named your new cat, “Her Ladyship Mrs. Purrington”.
Gay or straight, they’re quite nice to look at. I’m hoping for gay though. It would be nice to see some young gay H’wood power couples.

I am curious- would people find him attractive if he were not a star? He’s an average looking guy to me so I am not sure what to say. It’s like that line by 50 Cents (I can’t believe I am quoting him) when he said, “The best plastic surgery is to become rich and famous.” Is that true?

@Sebbe: Absolutely. If I had to choose between the two, I’d pick Bubba with no reservations. He doesn’t look as “Hollywood” as Zac, for starters, and he has a cuter smile. He could use a new hairdo, maybe, but I see nothing to nitpick about the fellow. He is a genuine beauty.

I don’t wanna speak on whether or not they’re together–that’s really their own business. But I do want to comment on the last photo, though, because it’s so powerful.
Had the last photo been a picture of two other people, perhaps unknown people, I would have said that the two of them aren’t together, but one of them surely wants them to be a pair.
Ever found yourself in a situation where you’re with someone you really like and he does something so cute that your heart just melts and you get the biggest urge to just take them into your arms? But as you begin to lift your arms, your mind makes a split second decision that you shouldn’t because you don’t know how they might react or because other people might perceive it as wrong, and your arms fall into an awkward position while you get a conflicted look on your face–you try to smile, but your eyes speak of sadness because you can’t do what you really want to do.
Now look at the last photo. Look at how Bubba laughs and how Zack looks at Bubba. You’ll see what I mean.
And weirdly, look at the waitress giving Zack a weird look. Just like you, she knows what’s really happening.. :)

It’s pretty obvious that Bubba is gay. It’s not blatant but its obvious and shows through the pictures. His body language and facial expressions definately give him a way. I doubt they’re hooking up but theres definately something there that’s more than just friends & it’s sad that Zac has to stay in closet to maintain his career. Regardless though Poor Vanessa.
p.s I do agree with Joseph though theres so much in these pictures that are so telling.

Erm you all do realise that Vanessa…Zac’s girlfriend of 4 years is there too and in pic’s n4 and 1. In fact in Pic 1 Zac has his arm firmly gripped on Vanessa’s shoulder and the two were seen happily running from the venue.
Bubba has a gf, she is an actress too. Both are very happy in their relationships and they are simply bff’s. No harm in that.
