If activist bloggers can submit answers — once, twice, three times! — to the Pentagon’s “confidential” $4.4 million survey, what do you think will happen when script kiddies with lots of time and nothing to lose figure out how to log on? This thing is a joke.
Sen. Carl Levin was right to be afraid the results of the survey would leak, but not because some Pentagon official will distribute them, but because the technology is bunk.
Military decisions — ones that effect things as important as “unit cohesion” and “troop morale” — are going to be left up to a system that’s hacked by civilians?

Make that CIVILIAN “activist bloggers.”
And, at great danger to my life and limb, this photo of members of the Pentagon Working Group interviewing an anonymous gay servicemember about the survey was just secreted out of Rahm Emanuel’s office.
