Sorry, folks, but we have another reason to love Google: It just won Outstanding TV Campaign (Mainstream Market) at the first GLAAD Amplifier Awards, which honor LGBT-inclusive efforts in advertising, marketing and 
public relations. The Internet giant won the award for its “The Web is What You Make of It: It Gets Better Project” campaign for Google Chrome. Other winners include Rokk Vodka‘s “Filtering Out Inequality” ads, American Airlines‘s “Beach Towel” spots and Allstate‘s “Protection for All” campaign. So, um, go out and buy all those things.

To give credit where it’s due, the GLAAD award-winning “Beach Towel” campaign was from American Airlines, not FedEx (or “FexEx”). The picture just shows the ad appearing in front of a FedEx Office location.
