Oklahoma politico Sally Kern’s very homophobic rant got mixed reviews in her home state. While gay activists wagged the obligatory finger, social conservatives gave Kern’s words a thumbs up and agree that gays are a threat to the United States, even more so than terrorists. We’re scared of ourselves! [KSWO]
I think they meant that we’re a greater threat than terrorists to those who wear clashing plaids or white after Labor Day.
We generate such hatred and fear among these people! Really, I gotta think that we’re at best the #3 threat, after foreign lunatics who want to blow us up and home-grown lunatics who take advantage of the social conservatives’ love affair with firearms to shoot up various schools and shopping malls. Dicksucking and its commensurate desecration of marriage, while obviously a HUGE threat, hardly compares.

Actually here in Oklahoma there are many people who find her repulsive, but there are scores of Sally Kern’s in every state. I only hope that the Religous Right doesn’t hold her up as an example and turn her into a “Celebrity”.
Sally Kern is a State Representative from the Oklahoma City area, so hopefully they will band together and take away her platform in the next election.
