Kern Still Has No Regrets

medusa08-321.jpg
Despite meeting with PFLAG and coming out against anti-gay discrimination yesterday, lawmaker Sally Kern still maintains that we gays are a blight on American society.

Speaking with about 40 people at a contentious University of Central Oklahoma meeting, Kern again stood by her now infamous remarks on the “homosexual lifestyle”: “If I knew it was being recorded, I’d still say the same thing. I will not back down from what I believe the Bible teaches.”

Kern also took some time to reiterate her trepidation over Islam in America: “It’s like oil and water: They (Islamic law and American law) won’t mix.”

What pigsh!t. Psychotic “christians” like her have tons in common w/sharia law. They both hate gays, revile science, turn to a single obsolete text for answers to everything, and believe women are little more than domestic breeding tanks.

Throw a niqab on that b!tch and ship her to west Pakistan!

Bible thumping religious zealot bigots are a blight on any society. That goes for Koran thumpers as well.

Yeah. Frankly Christians like Kern are the bigger danger to this nation.

Also? Keep your biblical beliefs where they belong and out of the legislature.

Well, “Biblical law” and American laws don’t mix either.

I am not an expert on Islamic law, but I have studied enough about it to know that fundamentalist Christians and fundamentalist Muslims have more beliefs in common than they care to admit.

Why is it that the only part of “Biblical law” that people like Kern care about is the bit about homosexuality? What about not wearing clothing made from mixed fibers? What about women needing to cover their heads? What about the prohibition on wearing the color red? What about not eating lobsters, shrimp, crab, clams and other shellfish? Where is her outrage when Little Miss Christian goes to the Red Lobster wearing a polyester-cotton blend, red dress and chowing down on some shrimp scampi?

Let’s be very clear: Kern hates gays. She has a gay son, but hates gays. If it weren’t for the Bible she’d find some other justification for her hatred. She’s trying to make her bones as a bedrock conservative – at the expense of her own family. Sick, really.
