Another loss for Kim Davis.
The infamous Rowan County Clerk dedicated all of last summer to denying same-sex couples their legal right to marry despite the Supreme Court ruling on marriage equality. This summer, she’s spending her time trying to scrub that illegal antigay behavior from her official record.

Last month, Davis’ lawyers filed a motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, where she’s been fighting a contempt order against her for nearly a year, to vacate the ruling and put the whole matter–everything–all of it–including the part when she stood in front of a jailhouse, raised her hands to the sky and declared herself a martyr–to bed.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Well, unfortunately for Team Davis, that won’t be happening.
Yesterday, the court declined her request. The three-judge panel determined that the district court judge’s September contempt ruling against Davis was justified and that Davis’ motion didn’t meet the legal requirements to have it vacated.
Sorry, girl.

The court did, however, throw her a little bone by lifting an August 2015 injunction against her for refusing to issue any marriage certificates that bared her name, but only because the law she broke is being changed. Earlier this year, Kentucky lawmakers passed a bill removing clerks’ names from the state’s official license form. That law will go into effect on Friday.
Despite clearly not winning their case, Davis’ lawyers put out a statement calling the ruling a “final victory” for them.
“The injunctions are gone and Kim Davis received the accommodation that she requested,” Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, said. “County clerks are no longer forced to compromise their religious liberty and conscience rights.”
Despite being over and done with, for some reason we don’t think this will be the last we hear from Kim Davis.

The law was in place when she broke it, so that should remain on her record.
gayhope1990
Fucking cow!Kim Davis should lose weight and let the couple get married.
Kangol
Trump should pick her for VP. She’ll make the Bumpit a national hair sensation for the GOP crowd!
1EqualityUSA
“Bumpit.” I had to google it.
DCguy
It is mind boggling what some straight guys will sleep with.
GayEGO
Tee-hee! It is going just as I thought it would, now that she sees how she messed up, she wants us to forget her stupidity.
Next, she will probably declare herself a lesbian or some other gender and complain that she is being mistreated by not getting her equal rights! :>)
Leonard
Wow I thought Kim Davis died

“County clerks are no longer forced to compromise their religious liberty and conscience rights”
1 She was the one that violated the religious liberty of her deputies by refusing to permit them to issue them in the first place… doing the very thing to them that she was complaining was being done to her.
2 Most of her deputies don’t want to issue them but were intimidated into doing so by the judge.
So that statement is incorrect.

the only news i want to hear about this sow ever again is that her god has called her back home.

I hate her. I hope they throw her in federal prison and she rots there.
silveroracle
Karma has come round and she has got her just deserts.

While I do believe that what Kim Davis did was wrong and that as a Government employee she should obey the law, but I can’t help but be reminded that President Obama has done the same thing.
Several times he was required by the Courts to turn over documents, as in the ‘Fast and Furious’ case and in the Bengazi case. Both times he didn’t obey the court order.
Obama was told that the government cannot pay supplements to those who have Obamacare but he continues to do it. His executive order about illegal immigration has been ruled illegal but we still continues it. Many times Attorney General Eric Holder announced that he would not prosecute or even investigate cases as was a case in which a group of the New Black Panthers were accused of infringing upon the voting rights of whites by threats.
We have a case now in NC where our Attorney General is refusing to prosecute or investigate certain laws he doesn’t agree with. One of them being, what has become known as the ‘bathroom law’.
Yet, Obama, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, and even the NC Attorney General are celebrated as heroes. What is the difference here??

My understanding from what’s been posted on line,
Before finding Jeebuz she was an adulterous slut,
and I mean that with all due respect.
So that makes me wonder if she knew how to suck a mean kok. Perhaps she really knows how to swallow the salami, and in between sucks, feel the big meat spanking that massive forehead.

@martinbakman: That is a very disturbing visual you have created there. I don’t think I will be able to sleep tonight.
Sluggo2007
So, in other words, she is admitting she was wrong. Too little, too late, bitch!
Kangol
@1EqualityUSA: She’s the anti-gay strumpet with the Bumpit! LOL
Kangol
@StormNC: The difference is, she’s denying rights to American citizens that are accorded under the Constitution.
President Obama is not denying anyone’s rights. Do you not grasp this basic issue? handed over the “Fast and Furious” and Benghazi documents. As they showed, the GOP’s witch hunts went nowhere. As the President of the United States, just like his predecessors George W. Bush (who started “Fast and Furious,” BTW), Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, etc., he has the discretion to interpret certain laws. If he is wrong, the Appellate and Supreme Courts will determine that he’s violated those laws.
But he is not denying gay people their rights. Do you agree with Kim Davis? Why are you even on Queerty?

You make me Shakespeare in my shoes.

The reality of being sued (as the guy has stated he is going to do) has sobered her as back into reality. She now realizes that Jesus has abandoned her hate filled ass and the law is now the “lord” who will have final judgement. It has now become a question of how much the “lord” will hold her accountable for.
Ukin
Why do they always photograph her with a bag over her head?

@martinbakman: I’m sure she has never experienced sex withour the barrier of a glory hole
