Kylie’s ‘Who’
Kylie Minogue‘s taking a sci-fi spin this holiday season.
The Australian singer – and former soap star – signed on for a “very special” episode of BBC’s queer-friendly series, Dr. Who – whose gay character, Jackharkness, spun off on his in Torchwood.
The episode in question – “Voyage of the Damned” – begins filming in Wales next month and apparently Minogue’s “thrilled”:
It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire Dr Who production for this year’s Christmas special. Dr Who enjoys a unique history and it is going to be very exciting to be a part of that.
Judging from Kylie’s wardrobe, she’s been preparing for her out of this world appearance.
The character of Captain Jack Harness is not gay, he’s bisexual. Get it right.
As far as Kylie goes….
The episode is “Voyage of the Damned” and has something to do with the ill-fated Titanic.
While John Barrowman is gay, his character Jack has an ‘open sexuality,’ soliciting the attraction of men, women, and insect aliens alike. He is after all a modern man of the 51st century.
Who is this Kylie Minogue person. Never heard of him.
