It's a sad commentary that those whose enjoy the liberties and privileges that Democracy affords them, would use that very same Democracy as a devisive tool to take the liberties and privileges of others away. How would the religious right and supporters of Proposition 8 feel, if a similar Proposition were initiated that would take away their right to worship as they please, just as they would take away our right to love whom we please?
