Stefani has been a clever woman so far, I’m reserving judgement about the whole album until it releases. Part of me thinks “Applause” was geared to briefly satiate until more significant singles are released. I wouldn’t describe myself as a monster, but I’ve been a fan because she can deliver great vocals during live performances.
