I guess since Lance Bass is one of the few celebrities who have had the guts to “come out of the closet” it’s perfectly okay to refer to him as a bride or bridesmaid because afterall, everybody knows that gay men secretly want to wear a bridesveil someday, right girlfriend? Yuch.
And we wonder why so many MEN choose to stay closeted.

Here is a positive story. A heterosexual couple having a GAY MAN of honor share their – what has got to be – most important life event ever in a meaningful way and all you can do is throw dirt. Just maybe the hetero couple is making a statement about marriage equality and changing times. They certainly seem to be making a statement – intended or not – about friendship, inclusiveness and a definite lack of homophobia.
I get your political drift, but you cheapen your viewpoint and you turn some of your readers off when you obviously refuse to look at situations without the prism of your political views and with what you mistakenly think is rapt and witty repartee.
