A one-month romance is hardly something concrete among Los Angeles gays, but Lance Bass and his new beau have made it all the way to two months! Get out the party favors for this long-termer!

RadarOnline reports Lance met his new gentleman friend back on Halloween at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Halloween party at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Identifying him as Brent, we tracked him down as Brent Rodgers, and the Texas Tech grad’s Facebook profile shows him to be a fan of the Dixie Chicks and Dexter, which is all you need to know about somebody to consider him you’re BFF.
So welcome to the spotlight, Brent. You’ll be on WireImage in no time.
@scott ny’er: @Danny: wow bitchy-queen much????? Lance is hot. And queerty why does him dating around imply he is a slut??? It’s is possible he hasn’t slept with any of these guys and he is just searching for the right man.

@Danny: That is just bull shit. Lance is this amazingly cute, funny, charming guy. Not exactly my type, but how come every bitter queen has to see nothing more than a money attraction when someone is with someone that is wealthy. It is an insult to the couple.

@JusticeontheRocks: Why do you need to be insulting to Lance just because he is possibly a little fey? There is nothing wrong with that. I’m willing to bet you wouldn’t kick him out of bed. Yet for some reason you feel the need to call him Ms. Bass. Does it make you feel better to think that you are this big macho masculine gay male while he isn’t?

@Danny: REALLY???? What is wrong with you??? Since you bring it up though… Met my husband through his cousin (17 years ago this dec.25) and all the lights were on. But Please post a picture of yourself so we can stare at the beauty that is you. I hope you are pretty on the outside, because the inside… ummm.. WOW

@scribe: Nope. You’re the bitchy one. I didn’t insult him. I didn’t say he couldn’t sing, was fat, or ugly. YOU took it to an ugly place and then tossed out 2 words to try and insult me and another poster.
I never thought Lance was attractive out of the Nsync bunch. And still don’t (altho his body does seem really nice now). You can take JT as well, he’s really not all that. I did dig JC tho.

@scott ny’er: If someone walked up to our partner and said, I hope you have a good personailty because your man is hot, what would you think??? Bitchy-queen

@scott ny’er: to paraphrase a friends episode “your not hot enough to get a lance bass” hehe… seriously though, don’t get why dudes are down on him. Every week queerty does a story on him and every week dudes rip him a new one. I don’t own one of his cds, not a fan, just don’t get the hate on a fellow gay male.

@Daez: If this is really Daez, I’m impressed… slightly. Although I disagree with you desires to always play devil’s advocate and brush gay opression off. I would have sworn you would be the first to drag Lance through the mud here. Although I’m not saying he’s perfect, who is? I don’t see the need for people to wish ill upon someone who is young and enjoying his life and seems to always have a smile on his face. He’s scandel free, has a number of various charities to his name, and seems to be an all around kind guy. I especially give you accolades and props for standing up to “alpha macho” gay writers on here who taunt other gay men for not acting according to their comfort levels, and not being alpha. Not everyone is alpha. This world is big enough for us to have different manneisms, body language and way of speaking with out having our manhood or dignity disrespected. No two people are the same in behavior, so why should we expect all gay men to be one narrow idea of manly. Plus, having a little fey always endeared me to guys. Let’s give people a chance for the content of their heart, not how we precieve them to be.

@scribe: Scribe, I was nodding so much in agreement with all your posts that my head hurts. Well said. We should celebrate seeing two gay men coming together in happiness, with out trying to cut them, or belittle them or hope for the worst. We have enough haters out there, we should be creating a supportive space between us where we celebrate each other. Maybe others will take note of that positivity amongst us and then start championing our rights, but the first step in acceptance is for us to be a little more accepting and ecnouraging of each other. You’re a really grounded, secure, sincere soul I can tell and your friends are very, very lucky to know you. Positive comments like yours are a rarity on these places, especially when it comes to any gay person in the public eye.

Lance Bass comes off as a nice guy. What’s the big fucking deal? He’s trying to do the best he can, and much luck to him and Brent. At least he didn’t ruin Janet Jackson’s career, Justin Timberlake. (I really loathe Justin Timberlake and everything he does. I won’t even watch THE SOCIAL NETWORK.)

@ Daez. You are right. I wouldn’t kick him out of bed. I wouldn’t have enough interest in the boring twit to get anywhere near that point.
He’s just a guy whose publicists gave him a carefully orchestrated coming out designed to revive a dying career. It got him DWTS, where he lost to a 300 pound football player. But, if you like publicity whores who aren’t even entertainers any more, he’s all yours cowboy.

gorgeous guy. I don’t know Lance so maybe it’s his personality but I’m not seeing the attraction to him. He gets some hot guys.
