Larry Craig Back In GOP’s Good Graces

snidecraig.jpg
The Republicans are once again showing Larry Craig some love.

The toilet trolling senator will be allowed to continue work on twenty appropriation bills, a move Craig says proves his invaluability to the Senate and thus justifies his resignation reversal:

Right now we are very much working to keep everything in place, and I’m pleased about the progress. I feel like I’m being effective and I’ll continue to work.

The news also suggests that the GOP’s letting up on their political pressure against Craig, who many hoped would step down after the world heard of his toe-tapping ways.

Now it’s up to the Ethics Committee to decide Craig’s fate. We’re not holding our breath.

Satirical humour !!!!!

Larry Craig has learned something from Carlos Castagna…..namely, if you are just one Republican self-loathing married hypocrite, then you threaten them with outing the goods.

After all, it is a win-win – and Larry Flynt’s upcoming bombshell notwithstanding – the man is not running for re-election and keeping the seat is uppermost in their minds.

Larry knows Who’s Who, Who Does Who and Who Sucks What. Blackmail, pure and simple.

Rt. Rev – Don’t be so sure the man is not running again. Things like this only serve to embolden his brazenness. He said he was resigning but didn’t. All we have is his word he is not running and we all know what his word is worth.

I’m glad he’s still in. It’s not like Idaho voters would replace him with an old-time liberal. He stays, and we get to watch the GOP squirm some more.
