Larry Craig Hires Michael Vick’s Lawyer
Larry Craig’s got some high-powered lawyers backing his campaign to clear his crude name. The disgraced Idahoan Senator signed Billy Martin to represent him in Minnesota.
Those of you followed the Michael Vick case should recognize Martin’s moniker: he helped Vick cop a plea.
That plea, unfortunately, came with a 1-5 year sentence.
If only Johnnie Cochran were still alive…
Why does Craig bother? He’s already been forced out of the Senate and regardless of the outcome of his court case, his name has become a byword among the American public. He should just let it rest and get on with his life… maybe get therapy to help him accept his homosexuality.
“He has a wide stance” is now code for being on our team, in the life, same church, confirmed bachelor, etc.
