A Drag Race Christmas: Latrice Royale
GayCities New York editor Jeffrey James Keyes snuck under the mistletoe with the contestants on the upcoming new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race for a closer look at some of their favorite things and their plans for the holidays.
Palace Bar in South Beach. I love this place NOT because I work there, but because it is the Ultimate Experience.. It’s outside right on the Beach. Beautiful People, Great Food/Drinks and the Drag Shows are AMAZING!!! What more can you ask for?.. LOL
I am “LARGE AND IN CHARGE”!! I’m easily the largest contestant that has ever grace the RDR runway. But I think what helps me the most is the way that I carry my size and how I use it to my advantage. My size is never a “Handicap”.
LOL.. Well I am still who I am, and who I am, is a bitch that CAN’T buy off the rack… so the fabric stores and internet will still be my way off life. We gotta build it from the ground up baby!!!
As it stands now I will be in LOVELY SOUTH BEACH FLORIDA bringing it in Miami Style!!
I am very well balanced.. I encompass all the elements needed to be the next Drag Superstar!! Charisma,Uniqueness,Nerve, and Talent!! As an added bonus, I’m “Large and in Charge”, and Big, Bold, and Beautiful!!
She looks a bit like Ursula from The Little Mermaid in some dime-store costume bra and a three dollar dress. The look is a mess.
Hopefully her splits/personality will shine because from everything I’ve seen in the promos and trailers I’m really unimpressed with this one.

Busted? No way! That’s some amazing costuming, makeup and hair.

Once again in this “skinny is best” world and Large Women are considered disgusting and aren’t valued for anything they have to offer.I know this for a fact as I’ve been both skinny and large. Large women aren’t even given their much deserved credit. Not even for their talent. I personally feel Latrice Royal was cutfor being as she said “Large and in charge. It was apparent that she embodied EVERYTHING people in America need to achieve. She judged no one, showed only concern for all her opposing drag Queens viaing for the crown. She excuberated class,warmth,and elegance in every show, despite the challenges RuPaul threw out.
Latrice, wherever you are, Thank YOU for making this Large and in charge woman get back her selfesteem.
