Laura Bell Bundy, Broadway-Cum-Country Star

You might know Laura Bell Bundy as the star of Broadway’s Legally Blonde. But since decamping from the stage, she’s been toughing it out as a country music star — and touring America’s gay bars in recent weeks, complete with hot cowboys. In fact, she’s been recording and performed her own country numbers for quite some time, but she just had her coming out moment over the weekend, at the Country Music Awards, where she delivered this infectiously catchy song-and-dance for her new-ish single “Giddy On Up.” She is part Dolly, part Britney, and it was really fantastic.
